Nu Brand Flexxx

Nu Brand Flexxx [that's with 3 X's] who brought us "Gash By Da Hour" and "Pussyphat" are finally back with their brand nu offering of "The Anthem." The video shows each extra and crew member dressed head to toe in bright colours for every scene. I catch up with Likle P who tells me a likle bit more.

Tell me a bit about yourself as an artist...

Likle P is more than a name it's more like a lifestyle. I try to let the listener understand what it is I'm feeling at the time the music/project was composed. Unlike a lot of MC's that claim to be artists, I am not afraid to push boundaries and that's very much evidential in Pussyphat.

What's the new track about?

The new track is an invitation for listeners to get to know Nu Brand Flexxx. The track was produced by Striver and re-fixed by Freaker, it features every single MC in the crew with the addition of new members and Maxwell D on the hook.

Do you think it will be as successful as Gash By Da Hour? What's the catch phrase this time?

Yeah definitely! There are so many catch phrases, take your pick. The previous line will make a lot more sense if when reading this you have heard the track or not. Watch this space. The song brings a lot of good energy which is something that has been lost as of late.

Why did you choose this for the next video?

We felt that with the addition of the new members there is no time like the present to let the world know Nu Brand Flexxx area serious.

Give me a run down of the video's storyline...

"Taste the rainbow" [Basically, everyone is wearing different colours].

Any shenanigans go on during the shoot?

It was Boya's birthday the previous day so we rolled into the shoot still on a high from the birthday celebrations.

Why should we care about voting for your video opposed to another artist's?

We're a breath of fresh air. Once you see it you'll want to see it again and again and again and [we get the picture Likle].

What's next for Nu Brand Flexxx?

Rangoose Vol.1 the long awaited mix tape. Music is a stimulant and a drug and on this mix tape you'll find you can relate to every track and it can help to control your emotions. It sounds powerful because it is.
