Wanna Say’ is the debut single by collective Soundbwoy Ent and the
third highly-anticipated release on Ministry Of Sound’s Urban imprint Smoove
Records on the 17th April. Over the last year UK Urban Music has been crowded
with too many moody beats and angry boys. ‘Never Wanna Say’ provides a breath of
fresh air with its sultry vocals and melodic harmonies, allowing women to really
enjoy the genre again. The days of singing along are back! The track features
Doctor, and here’s what he’s got to say…I heard they call you Doctor because you're good at listening to girls' problems, that true?
That is so true, just come to me with your problems and the remedy is given.
How did you get together with SBE?
SBE got my number through Ministry Of Sound because I did a previous remix for Ministry with a new girl group they had coming out.
You already got attention from girls before Never Wanna Say but how's it been since the release?
It’s been crazy, before it was kinda under cover attention from the girls, but now they go crazy, I cant walk anywhere.
What are you working on at the moment?
I am working on my album, Doctor's Orders, my single will be out by the end of June, video should be out for the 1st of June, and that’s called "Gotta Man?”
What do you like about the music industry?
I love expressing my thoughts to people, the stage shows and the high life.
Is there anyone you've met and not liked for whatever reason?
I love everyone!
What's your view on how music is sometimes associated with violence?
My views are that music is very influential to the young youths of today, so we the musician need to watch the things we convey to these kids, we've taken the role as parents in a way.
Would you ever go to the states and promote your material?
Definitely, why not. I wanna go around the world and promote my music
What makes you different from the thousands of other MC's out there?
