Ironik represents Twice As Nice and has started his own agency and label. He
has also represented Aftershock Productions in the past. As a producer he
creates varied upfront music, some of which is currently getting airplay on
select radio stations like Kiss FM (Logan Sama Show), Choice 101.7 FM, BBC Radio
1 (Tim Westwood Show), Xtreme FM, De Ja Vu, Manic Fm and many more. He’s still
quite young but has already made a name for himself in the game.What do you get ironic about or did you just choose the name because it sounded good?
Well to be totally honest I chose it because it sounded good, I think the name's very different!
You're still quite young, what was it like becoming part of the Twice as Nice team at that age?
It's very good, the whole of Twice as Nice show the most support and help out with my DJ career in every possible way. Being the youngest doesn't make any difference though it just means i have to be as good as the big guys!
What have you been recording lately?
I've been working on my production, so producing tracks for a few artists' albums and mixtapes but at the same time trying to get my vocals done as well. It's kinda mad being a DJ, Producer and Mc.
Any big collaborations?
I'm in the process of sorting out some work with Davinche who's a big inspiration to my production style. Also Terror Danjah and some collabos with US artists (not mentioning any names).
How are preparations for the video going?
It's going good, we have sorted out the directors, locations and models. The director has written the script of what's gonna happen. We are now just waiting for dates to film the video.
How would you desrcibe your production style?
Very energetic and hyper with a dancehall style!
You've performed at so many spots, is there anywhere left you'd really like to get into?
Yeah, I havent played at a few clubs in UK that I would definitely like to play at and also a few beach clubs in Miami would be nice! Miami promoters holla at me.
Do you find that girls only like you because you're in the music industry?
Erm yes indeed. There are a lot of females like that but that's with most artists ain't it? Take a listen to my track 'Groupies.'
Do people ever try to mess you around just because you're young?
Yes, promoters the most. I have had promoters always trying to mess me around when booking me because im young but my managers then sort them out!

I have produced a track on the Twice As Nice album that's out now called 'Nowhere Else To Run'.
